Imagine yourself to be an immeasurable being of energy. Visualise vast visions of boundless vistas. Being in endless horizons, feel the freedom and the lightness. Experience the stillness of this paradise. Savour the soothing peace. Bathe in the tremendously charged light all around you. There are no limitations here, no do’s and don’ts. There are no rules of living, no rights and wrongs or good or bad. This is a place of infinite consciousness. Pure and filled with inestimable comfort.
Until, one day you, the infinite being, chooses to enter a bottle. Yes, this is your choice to be imprisoned within the walls. Memory of your true source fades away. The past is forgotten, there is a brain fog. Believing this is your world, you identify with the trap, learn the rules of good, bad, right, wrong, do’s, don’ts, have tos, shoulds, musts.
The bottle becomes your identity, the walls define who you are. You struggle to build a life inside the boundaries. Achieving material possessions, lasting relationships, you laud at your hard work and success. Looking at the bottle your heart swells with pride and triumph. Well settled, you get overtly comfortable in the bottle.
Soon, fear of losing what you have created over the years kicks in. So much effort has gone in to build life inside. Your emotions run high when you think of losing loved ones. There is immense stress of what the future holds. Fear, stress, anxiety grips you. Health takes a toll. Relationships go sour. There are frequent ups and downs at work.
These limitations, fears, ill health, doubts, anxiety, stress, so on replace the happiness. The bottle is full. It is filled with clouds of darkness, doubt, fear, etc. The environment inside the bottle is toxic, self-depreciating and unhealthy. It is time to empty it. You have to leave the bottle. It’s not an easy task. Afterall it’s been built with hard work, love and passion. There is excessive attachment with the material possessions, relations and comfort. How can you leave the place you spent an entire lifetime creating?
Everything in nature and life is cyclical. What is born, dies. What goes up, comes down, may be to a higher level. What is created, gets destroyed. Who can defy that?
It’s been painful to let go of the bottle, painful but once out you realise the infiniteness. You reignite the freedom, your vastness. It is a moment of realization that you chose to enter the bottle to gain experience of that lifetime, to add to the diary of learning new skills, gain new knowledge, clear off past dues, bring in more wisdom and understanding.
You identify with the beauty of being free of limitations and what a fool you were to be trapped and be attached with those futile emotions. Also, the stupidity of the material possessions which are bound to earth. The light around you is so surreal and soothing that nothing else matches. The learning experiences have been added to the list so in the next bottle you don’t repeat the process.
Now imagine that bottle to be the body you are creating your current life in. Ask yourself
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Is this life permanent?
What would I take with me when I leave this bottle?
What am I so attached to?
What do these attachments serve me?
What have I achieved in this life time?
Have I gained new experiences, skills, learnt my lessons?
Will I take the grudges when I leave the bottle or will I take peace?
What have I filled in my bottle?
What kind of environment am I creating in this bottle?
What am I yet to create?
What can I be to be infinite in my consciousness, yet be in the bottle?
There is light, streaming through, omnipresent, trap it in your bottle, make it shine through with and without. Let this light radiate through. Feel pure light of peace, love and wisdom.
Feel the infinite consciousness waiting for you to own it. Use the bottle to add a new skill, understanding, experience.
Remember you are not the bottle. You are the all-pervading, limitless consciousness.
