Integrity, simplicity and genuineness is what this packet of dynamite offers. I finish explaining the objective behind the life purpose series and that many feel connected, he says “Yes, that’s UDIN. That is Unique, Dramatic, Isolated and No plan. When people go through a unique experience which may be dramatic and they may feel isolated after the incident and have no plan to get out of it. After reading the articles they may not feel isolated”. That is Abhay Thakkar, generous, always ready to give the knowledge without feeling insecure.

Abhay has come a long way with Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, Chakra Healing, Redikall Healing, EFT, Past Life Regression, Transpersonal Regression Therapy, Family Constellation and Graphology. During graduation his preferred choice was studying Business Management, be that as it may, he was pushed to BA, which supposedly had more power to fetch a prized graduation certificate. Along the way he discovered his passion for drawing and so he joined animation. He was told off for not being good enough. Guitar called him and he was pleasantly surprised at this object treating him well. Well, it wouldn’t have got him a legitimate job so he was pushed to join a certified course in Travel and Tourism. Nothing wrong with the stream, just the hands which were strumming strings were frisking strangers at the airport. This didn’t come easy to him but it took external validation to accept his truth.  

Abhay had to come too far, jumping hurdles of what he didn’t want to do to figure what came naturally & truthfully. An advertisement to learn graphology changed his course as it was something close to learning drawing and eventually, he mastered it. The playing field changed dramatically owing to this familiar safe space. Abhay found himself in an arena of heartfelt testimonials, validations and mentor praises. The recognition validated his new direction and he moved his inner compass towards coaching.

It was not a breeze up till now. Separation of parents, sent to a residential school without consent, overload of single parent’s fears, overcompensating by relenting and many such threads wove a narrative of finding oneself through what life threw at him. Passing by these events he was numb throughout, slid through crevices and gorges to reach the ocean of self-discovery.  Curiosity, openness and keenness to learn kept the inner delight alive. The boy inside gleamed with victory, “I organised a workshop called ‘Chasing Success’. I went deeper questioning myself, I realised if you are chasing, you will always be running. Success will elude you. That discovery was magical”.

According to psychology, from the age of eight to fourteen years the personality is developed. Irrespective of the gender, the child takes the traits of either the father or a male member around. This small piece of science had immense impact on Abhay, being aware is half the self-healing done. Becoming the first facilitator from India to provide both – NLP and New Code NLP internationally recognized trainings certified by John Grinder as well as co-developers Michael Carroll and Carmen Bostic St Clair awakened the understanding of his yang side. Life offered him an invitation to take up the responsibility of holistic healing and empowering people. This path led him to nurture and strengthened the latent yang force within. Which probably was not that strong. Walking the talk by applying the philosophy and tools of new code NLP has helped him enhancing his awareness and that’s why he makes sure his teachings are simple to understand and have high usefulness and applicability in every field, personal and professional.  

Abhay’s is a relentless journey into finding the truth, which is not static. Truth is progressive and an upward moving spiral. Hidden meanings, deeper understanding and new ideas are unsealed when we leave behind what we already know and are open to higher wisdom. On a lighter note, you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince.
